Aguas is The Black Buddhist’s tribute to Latin American culture and music. With this EP, The Black Buddhist has created an upbeat blend of Latin and American culture with clever punchlines and lyrics detailing his experiences living in countries such as Chile and Peru. The Black Buddhist is able to create a seamless transition between the Spanish and English language, as well as the Reggaeton and Hip Hop music genres. Aguas incorporates Latin piano sounds with modern Hip Hop drums, as well as Reggaeton samples from Tego Calderon and Calle 13.

The Aguas EP was dropped on January 6th, 2020, which is also the holiday known as Epiphany, or Día de los Santos Reyes, celebrating the three kings who visited Jesus at his birth.
